Waterford

Waterford was first established in 1783 on land adjacent to Merchants' Quay in the heart of Waterford, Ireland. It was founded by two brothers, William and George Penrose, who were important developers and principal exporters in the city. Their vision was to "create the finest quality crystal for drinking vessels and objects of beauty for the home." More than two hundred years later, the reputation they established for creating glass of unsurpassed beauty and quality has transcended the intervening centuries. Today, Waterford's principal manufacturing plant stands on a 40-acre site on the outskirts of the city made famous by its quality, glittering products. There are also two other manufacturing plants in County Waterford.

Swarovski began with Daniel Swarovski's fascination with creating a machine that could perfectly cut crystal. He lived in Bohemia, which at that time was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Lladro

This elegant, timeless line of figurines has become a staple of upscale taste and we are pleased to carry it. Lladro figurines come in a wide array of styles that reflect a variety of time periods. All are made with a decisive flair for detail and a look so elegant that the brand is often recognized at first glance.

In 1953, brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladró quit working at a tiles factory and built a little Moorish kiln in the courtyard of the family home. In the outskirts of the Spanish city of Valencia, they created their first workshop, where The City of Porcelain stands today. Over two thousand people now work there and their creations are exported to more than one hundred countries all around the world and sold in almost 4,000 points of sale.

Lladró Assurance Program
With the Lladró Assurance Program, we want to offer a complete service for you to enjoy your sculptures for a long time. We therefore insure your sculpture at no charge from the date of purchase and forever.

In the event of breakage, you can buy your article again, or another one of the same price or lower, from any authorized Lladró establishment with a 33% discount on the price in this sales outlet. Just complete the Free Assurance Certificate you will find inside the box with your figurine.

The Authenticity Code
Since 1995, all Lladró sculptures, except for Christmas ornaments and some small pieces, have carried an alphanumerical code on the base alongside the logo.

The Limited Edition Sculptures are identified by serial number. If the marking on the base has been erased or scratched, which will be the case with discounted lladros, Lladró will accept no responsibility for the quality or authenticity of the piece, nor will we. All our Lladro figurines come with this marking intact as we are an authorized "A" level Lladro dealer. For any claim in this sense, address the establishment where you purchased it. Any Lladro figurines that are returned to us must have this same number as the piece that we initially sent you, if not, if will be returned to you at your expense.
