ABOUT MAEGREENS

A Family Legacy of Fine Gift Items and Friendly Customer Service Since 1958, Maegreens has been the premier fine gifts and collectibles shop at the Jersey Shore. And thanks to the latest technology, our family-owned shop also sells merchandise nationwide via the Internet, which gives you more shopping possibilities!

Our store's ownership spans three generations. The original owners were Morris and Mae Greenberg, who launched the shop in 1958. They decided they wanted to introduce a finer gift line, and did so with the advice of Mae's sister, Clara Fortunoff, who was married to a member of the Fortunoff family. In 1964, Morris, Mae and their son Jerry started carrying fine china as well as the Lenox line. Luggage, appliances and hardware supplies were also sold until those items were later phased out. More collections of fine gifts were introduced to the shop.

Maegreens moved to its current location in 1972. In 1974, a fire destroyed the building but Jerry and Dotty pressed on and rebuilt the store on the same spot where it is currently located. In 1986, their son Andrew Greenberg -- who is currently the sole owner – came on board. Our business is still going strong today because of the specialty items we sell at exceptionally reasonable prices. You'll find great deals here that can't be beat!

As an authorized distributor, Maegreens carries everything from Waterford crystal and Lladro figurines to Hummel Christmas ornaments and Lenox collections. The shop also features a stunning collection of Dansk crystal, Quoizel lighting and Swarovski crystal jewelry. In addition, we offer gift-wrapping on all items and provide shipping options as well.
